* Neptune Quartet (cello, guitar, mandolin, bass – acoustic world music)

2004 New Directions Cello Festival

The 10th annual New Directions Cello Festival took place June 25-27, 2004 at Lawrence University in Appleton Wisconsin.

For our 10th anniversary, we pulled out all the stops. We invited some of the most amazing talents in non-classical music to come and help us celebrate a decade of bringing together cellists in the common search for new definitions of what it means to be a cellist in our times.

* Mark O’Connor (CA) www.markoconnor.com Fiddle virtuoso Mark O’Connor and violist Carol Cook will be joining Natalie to give some workshops!
